The POWER SWITCH 810280-1 is a terminal strip which provides operating power to outside equipment through a single 15A circuit in the event of power failure.

The POWER SWITCH is a solid-state device for use as a switch closure in an electrical circuit. It provides normally closed contacts (N.C.) which will open when subjected to a force in excess of 5 lbs. It is controlled by the force applied, and does not rely on spring tension or magnetic forces. It features a spring return design, incorporating strong neodymium magnets and a stainless steel push button actuator. It is supplied with one pair of terminals for connection to leads, wires, or other devices within the circuit.

The Power Switch is a new type of power outlet designed to provide easier access for plugging and unplugging electrical equipment, such as luggage carts. It can be mounted onto any standard electrical outlet with side screws. The Power Switch provides easy access to the receptacle by rotating the handle and accommodating plugs up to 5.5in (14cm) in length.
