The Equal-i-zer is suited to trailers with a tongue weight of 500 lb. (without trailer brakes) or less and may be used with an optional semitrailer brake actuator (sold separately). While the Equal-i-zer hitch system will not eliminate all trailer sway, it will moderate both lateral and diagonal trailer sway. It will also assist braking by reducing the amount of trailer weight that can swing about the tow vehicle's hitch.

The Equal-I-zer is the original patented 2 5/16" ball leveling hitch. This hit has been selling well since its introduction in 1971. The Equal-I-ZER leveler hitch is a hitching system that has no moving parts and gives the user many advantages over conventional hitches.
