NON-PRIMARY AERATED WING TYPE PILOT
A STANDING PILOT BURNER, also known as a Batwing-Tip Burnerâ„¢, is used most often in places where a pilot is continually needed, such as restaurants. This standing pilot gas burner is designed for direct injection with a specially designed orifice to work with a natural gas primary valve. The pilots can be adjusted to provide an open flame while keeping the pilot light feature to maintain the correct pressure.
The 2401 is a solid tip style pilot which is used as a secondary pilot or for outdoor grills. This pilot has an adjustable flame and a terrific view.

A standing pilot is a pilot that is left on continuously. Standing pilots allow instant lighting and heat without waiting for the gas to build up pressure or turn on the primary valve. The Honeywell 2404 standing pilot natural gas burner has a low profile rectangular shape with parallel sides. It allows between 13/64" and 9/64" of gap on either side of it providing easy access for cleaning pilots burner tubes and controls.

The Batwing Burner is an Orifice pilot, designed to operate on 1/2" pipe. It may also be used on the branch return of a natural gas piping system where it will provide both the main burners with a pilot.
The Honeywell standing pilot gas burner is designed for natural gas and propane. The orifice pipe fitting is a A26 (.062") or K14 (.078"). This standing pilot tip measurements are 1-9/16" x 13/16" overall length. The BTU of this unit is 7,500 and the BTU on NG is 8,000.
