The Airstream 30 amp pressure switches are designed to use in all residential electric, oil, gas and propane fired hot water heaters. Pressure switches as manufactured by the Armstrong Air Company for Airstream can be identified with the model number 303514 or R10143215 .85 printed on them.

Pressure switches are primary controls for various systems of radios. The switch must close when the air pressure inside the space reaches 1 psi at sea level (14.7 psia); otherwise, an alarm buzzer will sound.

Pressure switches are designed for use on natural gas furnaces and water heaters.

The Armstrong Air Pressure Switch for a variety of products, including air-cooled and oil-filled units with a heater temperature of up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. The "OFF" position will not open the gas valve unless the unit is pressurized. The pressure range from 10 inches of water column to 1/2 psi.
