The RAM Mounting System 1" Ball is the standard for general purpose ball mount applications. The 1" Ball Base allows the attachment of a 1" diameter accessory or device, such as a camera platform or flexible arm, to a post or hole with a 1" outside diameter. An Acetal resin spacer with captive socket head cap screw is included that allows the 1" Ball Base to be used with posts and holes ranging in diameter from 0.94" to 1.50". The RAM item number 5027241 is a double socket arm for 1" ball bases for mounting to pickup trucks. It is made from solid steel and boasts a "powder coat" finish.

This mount for 1" ball bases allows you to use a RAM Double Socket Arm (sold separately) to add two sockets to your vehicle. For use with tablets and other electronic devices that use the universal AMPs hole pattern, this mount is constructed of high strength composite and includes zinc coated Grade 8 hardware.

Double Socket Arm provides twice the flexibility for your 1" Ball base and Ball mount. The socket arm can be adjusted to suit your specific needs providing optimal positioning of your navigation monitor as well as offering easy access to switches, buttons and charging connections. This RAM double socket arm allows the user to install an additional accessory such as a Ball with 1" diameter on a round bar with 1" diameter. This ball only has 1.50" shoulder, which means that if you wish to put another ball accross it, you will need a shorter RAM arm.

Installing a variety of accessories on your RAM mount is easy when you start with the 5027241, the 1" ball extension arm. The 5027241 has a socket that opens to 1" and closes to 14mm letting you connect a variety of components without needing to purchase several pieces.
