The RAM Rod Holder Post is an 8 inch extension which can be added to your rod holder clamp for attaching bike or fishing rod holders to your vehicle's trailer hitch mount. The post makes it easy to place and remove a camera, fish finder, or other device.

Mount rod holders or other fishing accessories to your truck, boat, or SUV. Featuring a heavy-duty steel construction and a black powder coat finish, this post mount rod holder is very durable--and it's easy to install. Simply thread the slit on top of the post into the pre-installed hole in your vehicle's hitch or frame. Then tighten RAM's thumb screw, and the post will hold up to 8 in. of rods and accessories.

The 17" RAM® Rod is designed to fit 1-1/4" diameter J-style rods designed for boats and vehicles with a 1-1/4" diameter hole. You can also attach this socket directly to the mounting plate by using a #12 x 5/8" Philips screw. The post is 6.75" from the center of the hole to the end of the rod holder on both sides.

The RAM Rod Holder is made from durable, marine-grade materials and features a versatile design that accommodates rails up to 2" in diameter (1-3/8" fore and aft positions). It also comes with a vertical rod holder with a diameter of 1.18", which accommodates even the smallest rods.
