This Raymarine power pilot combines the twin functions of a tiller pilot and power trim/tilt remote into one unit. Previously, you may have had separate devices for these functions, but this new single device does the job of both and more. It fits neatly into your control pedestal (or flybridge pedestal) and controls both rudder and power trim from there. It also incorporates a depth sensor to warn you if you try to lift or lower the dinghy while it's still in the water.
