The ACU-400 Actuator Control Unit is a programmable microprocessor based electronic engine control unit for an outboard motor. Twelve positions on the ignition key rotate a electronic switch to enable different polynomial values for the current and voltage commands in the power section of the motor. The ACU-400 turns off all three phases of the electrical system simultaneously and monitors system voltage to detect any abnormal electrical conditions in either the main unit or the accessory charging system.
