REAR WAVEGUIDE for Turbo Chef - Part# NGC-3017

The REAR WAVEGUIDE for Turbo Chef - Part# NGC-3017 is an attachment that fits onto the Turbo Chef oven's rear bracket (Part # 2100) to extend the distance from the oven to the cooktop. This product should be used for customers who have a large diameter cooktop and/or a significant distance between their cooktop and oven.

The NGC-3017 is the second piece of the rear waveguide assembly that mounts on the TurboChef control board. It is used in conjunction with part # NGB-3107. These two pieces are designed to allow RF cooking chamber heat to be vented through a rear port on the back of the TurboChef enclosure for direct coupled microwave cooking applications.

The Rear WaveGuide for TurboChef is a part designed to work in conjunction with the TurboChef 1401W oven to allow the rear of the food product to cook at the same rate as the front - eliminating the need for turning or "stirring" when cooking prime rib roasts, whole chickens, turkeys, etc. Allowing this ensures even heating of all sections of food being cooked, which enhances both flavor and appearance.

The REAR waveguide is designed to heat the ingredients that cannot be exposed directly to the flow of steam in order to maximize the heat transfer efficiency. It is specially designed for TurboChef series so that it can be installed on certain models without making major physical changes (on models with sufficient clearance for installation).
