The Induced Draft Thermostat/Motor has the ability to open and close the flue about 35 times per minute at 3-Temperature Fan switch positions. This helps to circulate air within the furnace draft system, increasing efficiency. The Motor works in conjunction with a fused ruud safety switch, High limit switch (w/gasket kit) & Low limit switch depending on gasket kit used.

The Induced Draft Motor is designed for use with forced air furnaces. The D-Motor features an insulated aluminum housing and a flame arrestor that helps reduce noise levels. This product does not include a gasket or thermostat.

The Induced Draft Motor is designed to work only on a Ruud furnace model THERMO CLIMASTAT II and is held at the front bottom right of the actual unit. The two pieces that makes up this motor are the fan blade that sits inside the metal casing at the bottom of the motors and above that is the top part that connects all three wires together.

The Induced Draft Motor is an electric motor that mounts inside the ventilated light fixture and is used to operate a 4-pipe or 2-pipe system.
