What is Low Ambient Control What does Low Ambient Control mean This product has a control to set the temperature of the water to control the temperature of the water in the hot water tank. Which means that during very cold or very hot weather you can pre-warm your domestic hot water and avoid the shock of straight tap water running through your pipes and having to wait for them to warm up.

The Low Ambient Control allows the system to operate at full capacity with outdoor temperatures as low as -13 degree F. For optimal performance, allow the indoor coil to cool to the desired temperature before turning on the outdoor unit.

The Rheem Low Ambient Comfort System is designed to deliver reliable cooling for y our home, even when the air temperature is exceptionally high. Whether your furnace is outside your home or inside your basement, the Rheem Low Ambient operates independently of your primary heating system to keep you comfortable year-round. It consists of three main components: an outdoor compressor that processes refrigerant into a gas, an indoor condensing unit for refrigerant re-cooling, and an indoor evaporator unit where your cooling occurs. The outdoor compressor regulates refrigerant flow to the indoor units.

Pumps are equipped with internal sensors that reduce pump operation when pool water cools to certain levels during the swimming season. This feature is activated at low ambient (air) temperatures (below 55ºF/13ºC) or by closing the pool's circulation system. It can also be turned on manually at any time.
