Separate limit switch for orifice tube and bypass line protection. This automatic function closes the manual bypass control if the zone fails to call for heat. The bypass control is activated when the temperature in the low-pressure zone reaches approx. 70 130F (21 90C). The switch remains closed until the zone temperature falls below 70F (21 90C), then it opens automatically. This prevents further heat loss to the water in the pipe lines so that the remainder of house water can be heated as desired and without a need for manual operation.
