The Rheem 54-24094-02 Permanent Filter Replaces

A permanent filter covers only the air intake portion of the filter housing. It filters incoming air, not the air that is already in the system. The permanent filter in this unit is located in the air intake.

Be prepared for anything with our permanent filter designed to handle a variety of contaminants present in water sources around the globe. The normal flow pushes all water through the carbon filter reducing dirt and particulates, while the bypass valve can be opened for situations such as when you are changing the filter or allowing water to flow to another faucet location. Great for homes with hard water or well water, this is also a great choice for use on Rheem Reverse Osmosis systems.

The SPX Series' stainless steel filter reduces sediment, sand and rust from your water supply. The SPX12's permanent filter allows for convenient installation. It is housed within the outdoor unit's top access panel and can be easily removed while the compressor is running or in the event replacement is required.

The DIP Tanks are made with seamless construction to help avoid leaks, and  a permanent filter is included inside the tank, so you won't need to ever purchase a replacement filter again. The  DIP Tanks are low-pressure drop tanks that have an internal relief valve to prevent over-pressurization, and include  a self-adjusting pressure relief ball valve for easy hook-up.

Designed to fit select Rheem heat pumps, this filter can be used in a variety of applications. Use it as a whole-house primary filter, or as the replacement media for your every day media filter. The permanently bonded granular activated carbon (GAC) provides for an economical and easy-to-service filter that will stay where it is supposed to.
