Rheem's new 611060 Expansion Valve with Bleed Port is a 1.5 ton, 3/8" x 3/8" R-22 liquid line TXV that features a freeze proof bleeder valve, bleed port for troubleshooting purposes, and a chamber pressure relief valve to prevent damage due to excess system pressures.

The Rheem RER-TXV611060 1.5 Ton Replacement Expansion Valve (TXV) with bleed port is designed to replace a faulty or damaged TXV.

This Rheem 2-Wire WxEMA Expansion Valve/Capillary Tube with Bleed Port is the perfect replacement of a faulty TXV. The TXV is connected to the condenser. It controls the refrigerant flow while preventing refrigerant leakage into your home, also known as charge/refrigerant loss.

The TXV is valve that modulates the refrigeration process by controlling the amount of liquid and gas going into the A-Coil. This is done by allowing the system to adjust as conditions require.

The RHEEM 611060 expansion valve (TXV) is designed to fight against the desired low evaporation of refrigerants. As it has a small flow range and the high pressure characteristics of conventional products, it is especially designed for use on heat pumps with flooded evaporators.
