The Flame Sensor allows more reliable operation of the NBR Series by sensing when flame is present. Flame failure may occur if a pilot light is turned off while the burner is still hot. With a flexible mounting bracket, this sensor can be mounted on the burner or control panel.

The Rheem Flame Sensor will shut off gas flow to your furnace if it detects a flame that is too large. This Flame Sensor fits into the input of a Honeywell, Comfortmaker, Tempstar, or other brand gas valve (sold separately) and will definitely be a worthwhile addition to your home.

The Flame Sensor monitors the flame and shuts the grill off if it detects a flame failure.

The 62 Series Flame Sensor senses flame failure and will extinguish the gas control valve to prevent gas from flowing to the burner when flame is no longer detected.The flame sensor is factory pre-set but can be adjusted to desired sensitivity
