Pressure Switch-RHEEM AP14551E -Ruud, Pressure Switch

The RHEEM PRESSURE SWITCH is designed to work in conjunction with the RHEEM Series AP14551E Low Pressure Control. This pressure switch operates on a 24 VAC supply. The pressure switch is normally open and includes an overload feature that will automatically deactivate should condensation or water enter into the sensor chamber. After 3 cycles to reset, the pressure switch will automatically activate again.

The following is from the Stanley Consumer Product Safety Recall Notice dated May 5, 2013: This recall involves four models (1/2 HP to 1 HP) of pressure switches manufactured by RHEEM Manufacturing Company. The affected switches are identified by the model number and pressure switch part number as indicated below. They are used to minimize energy consumption in forced air gas furnaces and hot water heaters that were manufactured between 1996 and 2001.
