The Pressure Switch is a Ruud replacement part. This is part of the Air Handler assembly, Fits either 1/3 or 1/2 HP (115-200v) motor mounts.

The Pressure Switch lets you know if there is any leakage or abnormal water usage. The Pressure Switch monitors the pressure of the cooling system and turns the compressor off when the pressure is abnormally high. The Pressure Switch won't control the compressor's start-up cycle, this will continue to run for a few moments after a temperature drop until the motor is up to full speed.

The RHEEM™ Pressure Switch SP20313 provides field-installable manual reset, as well as automatic reset for the compressor. It features an easy pull chain operation, and diagnostic/repair LED to quickly identify problems. The switch uses a sacrificial anode rod that protects the internal circuit board from corrosion and wear, and includes temperature compensation for proper pressure settings.
