The Ridge 31100 is a lightweight aluminum pipe wrench, 40% lighter than iron, and has internal parts and jaws identical to Ridgid's heavy-duty iron wrenches. This wrench meets Federal Specification GGG-W-651E. The Ridgid 31100 is made of heat treated alloy steel with male and female dies pivoting on blade pins that are oil tempered for added toughness. A convenient, push button locking system keeps the wrench closed or open as needed. It has a ribbed handle for an easy grip when maximum torque is applied and every necessary feature is available in one wrench.
