Dominion: Base Cards is the first expansion to Dominion, an award-winning card game of strategy and cunning. With this expansion you will add 54 cards to your deck—a 25th kingdom, 3 additional copies of each basic Treasure, Victory, Curse, and Loan card (6 of each in all), as well as 6 new Kingdom cards.

This expansion contains two new ???her decks of Treasure Cards– one each for Dominion and Intrigue.– which can be used together with the original Card decks (or with any other Dominion sets), or they can be used independently to create a variety of different games. Dominion base cards are divided into categories--Action cards, Treasure cards, Victory cards, and Curse cards. Players purchase one Treasure card (and may later exchange it for two Coppers), one or more Action cards and/or Victory cards. Players begin play with three Estates and a hand of seven action cards, the cost of which they must pay before playing them.

Dominion is a base set of 288 cards inspired by the historical colonial period of America, from the first transient settlement at Jamestown, Virginia in 1607 to the final shot fired at Yorktown in 1781.
