The 4040001 is primarily used for applications requiring an excess pressure relief and is suitable for use with all mobile home park water heaters that require a continuous waste line for venting purposes

The Robertshaw 4040001 24V 125# Solenoid Valve is a 24V solenoid valve with an industry standard 3/8 inch inlet and outlet. This impulse type, normally closed, solenoid opens when your control sends the power to it. When no power is being sent to the solenoid, it is closed. It has an extremely small current draw of 0.3 amps while open and .15 amps while closed.
