Lisle LIS45980 Rubber Tip for LIS45900 Hood Prop

Attach this rubber tip to a prop handle when using the prop as a pry bar. The tip is designed to be used on hoods, trunks, and tailgates to protect surfaces from scratches or other damage.

The Lisle LIS45980 is a rubber tip that fits on the end of the Lisle LIS45900 Hood Prop for helping you prop your hood open just enough so it's not too hard to get the rod in or out.

The Lisle hood prop rubber tip is used on the end of the steel handle to keep you from denting your car hood or scraping off paint when working under the hood. When you order this part it will come with 2 rubber tips so you can have a spare one in case of emergency.

The replacement rubber tip is used with the LIS45900 hood prop(s).

The rubber tip is needed for the LIS45900 Series prop rod to prevent any damage to painted surfaces.

The LIS45980 rubber tip is designed to fit over the end of the LIS45900 hood prop to ensure it stays in place on the valve which has a .460" diameter opening.
