The Johnson Controls 6860 swtich assembly is a 5 ports 1 exhaust single port air-switch used for all types of liquid control, liquid level sensing and liquid flow control applications.

The 6860 five ports one exhausting two pairs switching manifold is JCI's standard to all exhaust systems. It can be used for regulating exhaust systems with positive pressure or sub-atmospheric pressure. These manifolds are designed for use with the type of ceiling mount air actuated closing device (AK), which allows for simple, fast and safe opening of an exhaust fan.

Two pairs switching function is designed for distributing exhaust gas in two directions. 5 ports are designed for separating terminal box and the side box, thereby reducing the phase difference between them.

The Johnson Controls 6860 Universal Switching Module is designed for the most efficient control of pneumatic valves, with one exhaust port and two pairs of switching ports. The assembly can either be cable-mounted or placed in a wallbox.

To prevent short circuits and overloads, the power must be switched off and on manually by a switch located on the circuit control panel. The FAN ON/OFF switch is located at the right of the center port of the circuit control panel. Check that fan switch is off if motor is running under load and wheel continues to run. With wheel running, turn wheel slowly at first as wheel heats up.
