The Smart Smoke Alarm with Voice and Voice/Sounder - 147593 is a combination photoelectric and ionization detector. It tests all functions at the end of the alarm cycle with time-out after 45 seconds. The voice/sounder (the silencer button silences the piezo buzzer) test consists of three short beeps followed by an announcement, "Testing." There are no other announcements or alarms during the test period.

This combination unit, monitored by a central station, can be assembled indoors or installed with an optional outdoor photoelectric element. The unit monitors for both visible and invisible particles in the air, operating on sensing particles greater than 6% of its current sensitivity level. A 24-hour min/max memory output is offered for data logging.
