The F10680 Safety Valve is for use in fuel lines and screw cap gas containers with 10 gallon (38 liters) or more of capacity. A one-way venting valve prevents vapors from returning to the container during filling and helps prevent the accumulation of vapors at the outlet. Ideal for transport trucks, distribution stations, and similar applications.

The F10680 Safety Valve kit is a replacement safety valve that comes with internal o-ring and plug.

This safety valve allows for quick and easy release of excessive pressure created by a gas buildup due to any extended backpacking trip. A sudden increase in the volume of gas stored under pressure may cause an explosion, which can cause severe injury or death. Always insist on the use and maintenance of this safety device when using pressurized gas cylinders.
