SAFETY VALVE for Southbend - Part# 1182567

The Southbend 1182567 SAFETY VALVE consists of a 101/2" NPT male connection and a 1" NPT female connection. This cast iron SAFETY VALVE plate is required and used in all Southbend steam models which have the vertical type water column or horizontal type water columns.

Our replacement safety valve is designed for use with Southbend appliances and replaces part number 1182567. This part is for the LP Gas line only and should not be used with natural gas. The production date for this valve can be found on the tag located on the top of the valve.

The Southbend 1182567 Safety Valve features a stainless steel construction. It has a 1/8 inch NPT connection on the inlet and outlet ports, and a 5/8 inch NPT threaded connection for a long life. It is resistant to corrosion, wear and extreme temperatures.

The Southbend 1182567 replaces safety shut off valve #5555. Our hot water valves feature two parts, the safety and the pressure relief.

Replaces Part# 1182816 - PTCA Part# 302. Use with: Southbend PTCA Models UC38864-65, GP38864-95, and UC48864-95. Exceptionally durable longer life sealed type safety valve.
