This is a Sargent & Co 13-0878 D/C TAIL PIECE (1 3/4 484). This is a sterling silver tail piece with a diamond cut center. The center diamond is approximately 1/2 carat. The tail piece is stamped "Sargent & Co." and has a "D/C" hallmark. This piece is in excellent condition and is dated 1938.
