2-WIRE Cool Only TEMPORARY THERMOST

The ICM Controls 66197 is a two-wire cool only temperature switch, which will type 1/2" copper tubing. This thermostat will effectively cut off your water supply to your heater when preset temperature has been reached. This thermostat offers a wide range of ambient weather conditions to accurately control your climate and savings.

TEMPORARY THERMOSTAT AND AMBIENT CUTOFF SWITCH

ICM's standard 2-wire dry out Thermostat is a solid state electronic device that switches on when the dryer's temperature rises above 185°F, and automatically resets to the "off" position when the automatic shutoff cycle has completed. When installed in a clothes dryer, its function is to prevent mildew and rot caused by excessive drying, as well as fires caused by wiring errors and electrical shorts. The cut-in temperature of this thermostat is 155°F, and cut-out temperature is 185°F.

ICM Controls iC900 Series heat, cool, dry-out, and ambient cutoff switches can save you money every time they are installed. These switches are rack mounted, easy to install and simple to adjust using the knob on the outside of the housing. All models are 2 wire with an operating temperature range of 55 Fahrenheit (F) +/- 5F.

Standard 120V, Single-Pole and Single Throw; 1/4 HP, 60Hz, 0.14A Ambient Dryout Cutoff Switch temporarily turns off power to the unit for protection from freezing conditions and possible damage to the unit caused by liquids condensing in electrical components. A built-in freeze protection device is activated in certain conditions when power is turned on under freezing conditions. The thermostat switch resets automatically when temperature returns to normal operating range.

A simple UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable provides the means for data transfer between the contactor and thermostat. Operation is based on digital input from the ICM Controls thermostat.
