This is a direct control valve body (modulating) for water and steam. It features 1/2" NPT, 4 Cv, aluminum construction, TIG welded, and adapter ports.

The VM2223 is a 1/2" NPT two-way MODULATING vavle that is used to control oil flow in heating systems. The variable flow is achieved through the rotation of the valve stem, causing the disk to move in and out, allowing more or less oil to flow through the valve core.

The VM2223 is a two way valve with a 1/2" NPT port and connection. It has a reserve capacity of 2.4 gpm. This valve meets ASME A112.18.1/ CSA B125.1 Code for Safety in Design Requirements for Pressure Relief Devices and Section VIII of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code for minimum design pressure or working pressure, whichever is greater.

The VM Series 2/2-W Valves are designed for installation in liquid service. The valve body is manufactured from brass alloy, nickel plated and the seat is a hard rubber compound. These valves have two universal ports and are used for the modulation of flow to provide individual pressure control for each of two fluid circuits and for the isolation of faults in either circuit.
