APC Smart-UPS X Battery Pack Tower/Rack Convertible is an easy to use external battery solution that extends runtime for any Smart-UPS SC 420 / 530 / 630 /, BR 500 / 600 / 700 series, and BX 460 / BC 500 /700 series via a USB cable or optional DC cable. APC SC 620 and SC 720 series batteries can be converted into a rackmount or tower model. The UPS enters shutdown mode automatically when the battery reaches its low-charge threshold, and warns you with an audible alarm; it also reminds you with a notification message on your system.

The U.S. Short Depth External Battery Pack Tower/Rack Convertible (XRT120) is a fully featured cabinet/rackmount UPS with convenient external, removable battery packs.
