The TEC room sensor is mounted on a 15 ft. cable and used for temperature measurement in residential air handling equipment in HVAC system. It consists of thermostat, processing electronics and power supply.

The TEC Room Sensor features a unique combination of technologies – laser, RTD and Thermocouple – to provide superb temperature measurement in commonly found applications. Its long-term stability is achieved by an electronic compensation circuit that uses the 3 measured elements to adjust for ageing. With a 6-30 mA current loop output, the sensor can be used with most building technologies control systems. It includes a 20 m high temperature cable with twist lock connections at both ends.
