The Kastar KAS4655 Slack Adjuster Release Tool is used in the same manner as a standard socket wrench. Once the slack adjuster bolt head is loosened with an open end wrench, you can unscrew it with the KAS4655 tool. After removing the slack adjuster, wipe away any excess lubricant or grease from the ball shaft and ball bearing, and replace it back into the now empty socket of the release tool
