The EL165-2 is a 24 Volt solenoid coil that operates at 60 Volts. This part is used in combination with the EL-115, Series 150, Matrix 200 and Optima Sensor Activated Flushometers. It is for low volume flush applications only.
The EL165-2 is a 24-60VAC Solenoid Coil to suit the Optima range of Sensor Activated Flushometers. The EL165-2 can be used to activate an external actuator or release air from a secondary chamber.
The Sloan S0305118PK and EL165-2 Solenoid Coil Flushometer - 0 to 100 psi or 14 to 717 kPa. This flushometer is designed in accordance with the uniform plumbing code and the Standard Plumbing Code of America. It has a factory-installed 24/60 volt solenoid coil that activates at ambient temperatures above 35 degrees F (2 degrees C). All other models have a 4 to 24 volts non-solenoid coil.
The EL-165-2 Solenoid Coil for Optima Sensor Activated Flusho Meters has an integrated plunger that moves fluid or air to activate recirculation flushing.
The EL165-II model solenoid operates only on 24VDC, and is the proper replacement for Optima sensors. It has a 24 VDC coil with a 1 inch (25 mm) diameter by 8.5 inches (219 mm) long plunger. The plunger has two hexagonal holes for mounting into the valve receptacle of the 120V field control.
With a 1/4-inch male inlet and a female threaded 3/4-inch outlet, this replacement solenoid coil works with a variety of Sloan flushometers. It is used as a replacement part for EL165-2 type flushometers and fits multiple brands including: Kohler, Duravit, Price Pfister, Gerber, Grohe, Geberit, Toto and many more.
