The Solenoid Valve, 120V, Water Inlet for Scotsman part # 12-3124-01 replaces old and/or obsolete solenoid water valves.

This Solenoid Valve inlet water control is designed for use with Scotsman 36 and 40 gallon gas water heaters and boilers. It has a 12-inch male solenoid water hose valve adapter and a 3/4-inch male NPT discharge port fitting.

The Water inlet solenoid valve assembly is used as part of the water system. The 120V solenoid valve assembly allows water to flow from the water heater to the building when connected through a relay to a 24VAC signal. This valve is typically used with a Scotsman & Stirling's Greenfield and Rainbow Water Heaters but can be used with other water heaters that meet temperature requirements of 100°F-115°F. The primary purpose of this valve is to maintain the temperature of the water in the tank during periods when hot water is not being used.

Replacement Inlet Solenoid Valve (120V) used on some models of Scotsman Air Cooled, Water-cooled and Heat Pump Hot Water Systems.

The solenoid water inlet valve provides control of water to the icemaker. It is a 120V valve and includes the pigtail wire for connection.

Scotsman's Solenoid Water Inlet Valve connects to a wide variety of water source sources, including hot and cold pressure water systems. It features four solenoid valves that are designed for automatic turn-on and shut-off of the ice machine. When activated by an inverter, a flow of water is allowed to enter the icemaker.

The Water inlet valve is used on Scotsman ED2 and ED3 electric water heaters.
