SPARK PLUG KIT

A single box kit containing all components needed to perform one Spark Plug repair using the Sav-A-Thread¨(R) fastening system and tool. This kit also contains the necessary hardware and instructions needed specifically for 4.6 and 5.4 liter Ford spark plug thread repair applications.

The HEL5396-14 is a Spark Plug Molded Thread Repair kit. For use with spark plugs 16MM hex. This kit includes plug threads # SAV-THREAD 5/8-11 x 7/16-14, 2K Epoxy, and cloth tape for securing jaws to the spark plug

The HEL5396-14 repair kit consists of 100 ft. of Sav-A-Thread, one tube of sealing compound, and a spare gasket. These popular thread repairing kits are for use with spark plugs on Ford 4.6L Jeep 5.4L V8 engines, Mark VII, Mark VIII and F150 trucks. Use of these kits does not require any machine shop equipment, special skills or tools. The kits are completely reusable and do not fit into the spark plug hole.

A new helicoil deep-well thread repair kit designed to repair stripped spark plug threads in the Ford 5.4 and 4.6 liter V-8 engines. This kit adds 3/8" of length to the thread and is designed for easy installation using a supplied copper crush washer and accurate installation with the "Heli Coil" nut installed.
