Speedmaster PCE542.1021 Aluminum Bellhousing for Chevy SBC/BBC, Ford SB to Powerglide & TH400

The Speedmaster PCE542.1021 is an aluminum bellhousing designed to adapt Chevy small-block (SBC) and big-block (BBC) engines, as well as Ford small-block (SB) engines, to Powerglide and Reid TH400 transmissions. This adapter bellhousing solves engine-to-transmission mismatch challenges for engine swaps, custom builds, and restoration projects where original transmission flanges don't align with your engine platform.

Constructed from aluminum, this bellhousing provides a lightweight solution for connecting dissimilar engine and transmission combinations. Whether you're fitting a Chevy engine into a chassis originally equipped with a Powerglide or TH400, or adapting a Ford small-block to these transmissions, the PCE542.1021 delivers the necessary mounting interface. The aluminum construction helps minimize overall weight while maintaining structural integrity for reliable power transfer, making it ideal for street performance builds, race engines, and custom automotive projects.
