Springfield Marine's Taperlock Post. Marine quality post furnished with black oxide hardware, a square shank, and a clutch-type locking feature. This versatile, fully-welded post will accommodate all combination deck and hatch hardware. Made of marine grade 6061 aluminum, the Taperlock 2-3/8" Post can withstand the toughest punishment and provide a lifetime of service.

The TaperLoc 2-3/8" Post is designed as an off-road tear drop-style locking post. It can be used in both dirt or paved surfaces, and features the TaperLoc screw style that doesn't require a special wrench for installation. This post is 2-3/8" tall with a 1-1/2" x 1/4" base, black anodized T6 aluminum construction and a 3/8" mounting hole. It is intended for walls from 3 to 6 inches in diameter.

The keyway is counterbored into the plug to prevent drilling, yet has the versatility of being left open or locked at various degrees for added security.
