PURGE TIMER 90 SEC. USE W/ R4795

PrePurge Timer is a 90-second timer that enables the R4795 to purger the air in a room or building to maintenance levels before occupancy. Eight (8) dual-function 90-second pre-purge duration timers are available and used with the R4795 Control System. Connected in a preset group of two (2), four (4), or eight (8), they allow different lengths of time that will activate individual or all pre-purges before the automatic activation of occupant occupied mode begins.

The Honeywell 2800 Series Prepurge Timer for R4795 Control Systems (90 sec.) is used to ensure adequate time for refrigerant to be flushed from the valve before a dehumidification (DRY) cycle is initiated. This timer fits the Honeywell R-4795/R4796 rack controls. For use in air conditioning and humidification applications and dual fuel systems with variable speed compressors.

The R4795-90 is a purging timer. The second stage of Group II vapor recovery systems is smaller than the first stage, but still requires a remote purge timer. Use with Honeywell second stage Remote Purge Valves, type R4795 and type R9RK9S "straight", "90" and "180" second timers can be added to a single valve to provide the long run time needed in large buildings.

The Honeywell 2800 does not ship with a purge timer. The R4795 model purges the system for 90 seconds if the power fails or is disconnected. This 90 second purge makes it quicker to re-pressurize your system in case of a power outage or disconnection during the winter months when the system is most needed.

This purge timer is used with Honeywell R4795 and R4900 humidifier units to prolong the run time in off periods. Used for air cleaners that run 24 hours a day, we recommend this timer to extend the service life of the humidifier compressor.
