HONEYWELL 2.5 MINUTE PURGE TIMER - This Honeywell 2.5 Minute Purge Timer will work with virtually all residential or commercial gas, oil, kerosene and/or coal-fired equipment including furnaces, boilers and water heaters. It features an easy to use LDC display for set up and programing, and a manual start button for setting the timer without electricity.

The 2.5 Minute PURGE timer from Honeywell helps ensure your furnace will ignite at the optimum temperature, reducing the risk of catalyst fouling. The timer can be used on fossil fuels and gas furnaces only (not for use on electric units). The 2.5 Minute PURGE system is included with every 80 Series Gas Furnace from Honeywell.

The ST7800A107 2.5 Minute Purge Timer is designed to meet Code-Section 702 of the 2010 Energy Policy Act (EPACT) requiring self-contained purge devices installed on gas-fired water heaters. This unit provides the same standard two-stage purge, with the addition of a pre-purge for added safety and protection by allowing time to vent any unsafe gases that may have accumulated in the water heater prior to ignition.

Honeywell's ST7800A107 Energy Smart 2-Speed 2.5 Minute Purge Timer can automatically purge oxygen from your forced air system. This timer replaces any standard two speed wall switch, minimizing wiring modifications and reducing installation time. A programmable vacation mode allows the purging cycle to be programmed for non-standard times and intervals, while the low voltage warning light lets you know if the system is operating on a nonstandard voltage. Although this timer was designed with forced air gas heat in mind, it can also be used with both oil and electric oil systems.
