This Insulation Tester/Megohmmeter with soft carrying case is a deluxe instrument designed to test the insulation or continuity of electrical wires, lines, cables, resistors, transformers and generators used on low voltage systems such as aircraft.

The Insulation Tester/ Megohmmeter M500 from Supco incorporates a newly designed, collision-proof, nonconductive probe tip for quick testing of HVAC insulation. Fully calibrated to IEC 664-2:2008 (EN 477-1). The Insulation Tester/ Megohmmeter also comes with a soft carrying case.

The Supco Insulation Tester/Megohmmeter measures resistance of non-corrosive, non-metallic materials to see if there are faults in the insulation. The operation is completely safe, with an exception of using safety goggles when testing near high voltage components.
