RELAY CAPACITOR OVERLOAD

The Relay Overload is a self contained device that consists of a steel case enclosing the capacitor and an electrical switch. Designed for use with unit coolers and refrigerators, it limits the amount of current flowing into the condenser coils thus extending compressor life. There are two models: one with an independent 115 VAC temperature controlled switch limiting power into your unit when the storage compartment has reached desired temperatures or 150 F, the second model has an over-current cycle delay time of 6 seconds which delays power into your unit until after the compressor has completed 3 operations in sequence to cut on.

The RCO220 has a compact refrigeration system that is easy to maintain and can be placed just about anywhere. In fact, it has features normally found on larger units. The control protection offers short-circuit, high temperature, and over-temperature protection as well as a unique relay/capacitor overload and capacitor short circuit protection that provide added safety for the compressor and a longer life span for the entire unit.

The RCO220 refrigeration circuit is specifically designed to be used with electric refrigerators designed for 220 volt service. It has a starter capacitor, overload, and a thermal relay mounted on the end of the terminal strip. The overload activates when the 225 amp overload protector opens, or upon start up, preventing current overloading of the motor.

Four mounting screws and six wire leads to the compressor. The door is going to be a little bit loose, but you can fix that by using black rubber tape or actually silicone around the edges. And then just put the door all back on.
