Hot Surface Ignitor

The Supco® SIG104 hot surface ignitor is designed to be used with air handlers, packaged terminal air conditioners and multi-split DDC systems with electronic ignition. And because it's an "ignitor only" product, the part is less expensive and more convenient than an ignitor/flywheel combination.

This Supco furnace igniter is a replacement for Nordyne, Lochinvar, Glow Core, and Miller Centra-Vent hot surface ignitors. It is rated at 1.98 amps at 24 volts and uses two 10AWG T-1 wires.

The original and still the best, Piranha has been proving itself for more than a decade in name brand applications. Fully potted to last the lifetime of the appliance it ignites, this hot surface ignitor is compact and easy to install. It operates on 115 VAC power and uses a standard 7.0 Amp momentary contact push-in starter button and wiring harness. The Piranha ignitor has an integrated thermal overload protection circuit which trips at 175° C (347° F).

The Supco® SIG104 furnace igniter is a direct replacement for the following furnace hot surface ignitor models: 9031100, PLT2400, and 1950006. It is designed to meet or exceed all industry standards including NEMA MG1.

This is a direct replacement for both single and double stage ignitors. This device will replace most brands that require a hot surface ignitor or circuit board.
