AMTROL 57262 SX-40V SX EXTROL Expansion Tank, 20 Gallon (118-78) is a floor mount expansion tank. It consists of an aluminum body, brass ball valve and acetone tapered top.

The SX-40V SX EXTROL Expansion Tank is a fully welded tank with heavy duty 24 gauge type 430 stainless steel. 1" NPT Female Inlet - 1" NPT Female outlet has a capacity of 40 Gallons. The SX-40V SX EXTROL Expansion Tank is UL Listed and CSA Certified to ANSI/ASME Code 42 and is designed for domestic hot water systems rated 5 to 40 gallons per minute (GPM) from 120/240 Vac 60 Hz power sources.

The SX-40 is a multi-purpose expansion tank made of robust construction for commercial or industrial use, such as factories, industrial plants, water treatment facilities with inlet/outlet piping up to 2" plastic pipe or 2.5" cast iron.

This is a brand new  57262 SX-40V SX Expansion Tank manufactured by Amtrol. This tank is only small in size with a 10 to 40 PSI pressure safety valve, 3/4" shaft and three mounting holes 3", 6-1/2" and 9-7/8". This new tank can be utilized as a replacement for older tanks that are no longer serviceable.
