The 8960 Thermometer ranges from -40 to 160 degrees fahrenheit. It is thermometer head only and must be attached to a stem and spindle and the extension (all sold separately). The magnet on the end of the probe will stick to any steel surface that has not been previously frozen. Temperature accuracy is within +1.5 [degree sign] +/-0.2 [degree sign] F [+/-0.1 [degree sign] C].
