The 3559 single-stage thermostat is a direct acting, pneumatic, horizontal mounting, thermostat that provides temperature control for both heating and cooling. The more complete IP00 range meets the European CE marking requirement for electrical products.

The 3559 Thermostat is a pneumatic direct acting single temperature thermostat. It has one ability to modulate and is powered by positive pressure.

This single-hung calling card has a wide temperature control operation range (45 to 100 oF), is humidity resistant and is designed for high volume output. Install the 3559 in new ductwork or as a replacement for existing thermostats. Move the switch with four tabs to set the temperature you want, then set the knob holding tab at center to lock it in place. Unsnap the knob and slide it through the direction of air flow for on/off operation. The thermostat clicks

This thermostat is unique because it is a direct acting horizontal model. This thermostat replaces old style mercury thermostats used in commercial and industrial HVAC applications. It is battery powered with a solid state microchip and does not have mercury in its operation. The thermistor is heat activated to sense temperature changes in the area it senses, which is more responsive than an ordinary tap-on probe or dial system.

The 3559 Series is ideally suited for HVAC/R applications where a high volume of heat transfer is needed over a longer period of time. The dies are the same as Index 21 and all accessories are equivalent to those used on Index 20 thermometers. These thermometers have a direct acting solenoid valve for their heaters, which are designed specifically for this series. Their unique operating characteristics allow a greater temperature control accuracy than conventional direct acting thermostats and their high volume output makes them
