This Honeywell 12601 Utility Thermostat SPST Cooling Range 35 to 110F 2.5F Fixed Diff is a 1/2 in, normally closed, switching thermostat that has been factory set for a maximum cooling of 115 degrees fahrenheit. It has a case constructed of polycarbonate material and the mounting mechanism is steel and zinc-plated. The thermostat maintains temperature in conditioned spaces with its fixed differential. This model is suitable for use with gas forced air heating systems, baseboard electric heating systems, warm air ventilating/air conditioning systems, and hydronic heat tracing systems

The Honeywell UTILITY THERMOSTAT allows the user to set a temperature differential for cooling (1F fixed) and the switching device remains closed until the differential is reached. A low differential creates a slow cool-down period while a high differential creates a fast cool down period. When the temperature is reached the switch opens and cools by forced air circulation.

Contains 1/8" female pipe thread SSR socket at connection end and a hex nut for mounting at connection end. 8' (2.4 m) lead wire terminates with a 5-pin mini-DIN type connector for matching the appliance thermostat's terminal board.
