The T498B-1553 is a DPST (Double Pole, Single Throw) electric heat thermostat with built-in limit control switch. It is used for all modern furnaces and self-contained gas/oil heaters. This thermostat offers easy, quick temperature control during start-up and shut down, and delivers constant cycling of secondary heat to maintain the set point temperature within one degree.

The T498B-1553 Thermostat is used with Honeywell Digital PVT Controls to operate heating equipment. This model has a built-in Alarm Contact, and a non-indicating Pilot Lamp. The THERMOSTAT features an easy to read ON/OFF dial with 2-1/2" high markings.
