A 3 or 4 wire (26, 22, 19) coming from your thermostat connects via 3" capillary to the 2-way manifold mounted on the wall. Outlet connections are SPDT 0-100F using copper capillary.(12 fpt.) The next outlet is also SPDT (0-100F) and it also uses copper capillaries to a worker's panel 20 feet away. From this remote panel one capillary runs back to the indoor coils on the boiler

The 2901 is a solid state, load limiting thermostat. It is not an on/off switch, it controls the temperature and cycles the power to the bulb to maintain that temperature. This is not a remote ON/OFF switch.

Although the heat output on most incandescent bulbs is controlled by finger pressure on the filament, by use of this unique controller, the heat output may be varied from 0 to 100% of rated filament temperature. The controller will function equally well and last indefinitely if used at temps above or below room temp. Output can also be controlled by a thermostat or other automatic switch.
