Taylor Reagent kit #2 is used to quickly test for the presence of Amphetamine and Methamphetamine.   This new, improved version (R0981-A) contains .75 oz. of Taylor Reagent and comes packaged in an amber glass bottle with dropper and LDPE cap (see photo). The cap has a polyethylene liner to provide extra protection from alcohol vapors. Please note that the packaging does not indicate it is for Methamphetamine but just says "PHOSPHATE REAGENT #2 - 0.75 fl. oz."

When a significant amount of phosphate needs to be added to a fertilizer, AND/OR phosphate is an important limiting nutrient, phosphate reagents #1 and #2 may be used to supplement the lacking element. PHOSPHATE REAGENT #2 is a highly concentrated solution, highly soluble and specifically designed for this type of use. If used properly it can significantly improve field fertility giving the crop the ability to take up more water and nutrients from soil.

This Phosphate Reagent is a concentrated, aqueous solution of ammonium molybdate. It is used to measure phosphate concentrations in natural waters and can also be used to detect phosphate in soap and detergents. This product is packaged as a convenient to use .5 ML which makes it easy for the analyst to perform testing.

Phosphate reagent is supplied in a factor-weight bottle and is used to determine the presence of phosphates in drinking water. Each bottle contains sufficient reagent to perform twenty-five tests on the most common drinking water chemicals. A variety of standard color scales are available for use with this kit.

Taylor Phosphate Reagent is ideal for determining the content of phosphates in water as per Standard Method 4500-P, 14th Ed. The reagent is supplied ready-to-use with disposable test tubes, a micro-pipette and instructions. Also included are detailed procedural instructions and sample data.

Taylor Reagent Set #2 is a 4 component reagent packet designed to perform in strong anionic (Salts and other basic products) solutions and will not work well in solutions weak in ions, alcohols, or acetates. It requires a minimum of 20 ppm total titrant and must be diluted by 3 parts acid per one part reagent.

Reagent for determination of PHOSPHORUS; not affected by pH value or the presence of organic matter.
