INPUT PINION

Input Pinion for use in the Long Block Assembly of the 778176 Long Block. This part replaces the INPUT PINION (RING GEAR) in the original assembly. We recommend that you use this replacement part when ordering our Long Block Assembly (778536). It is recommended that you disassemble this hub gear when installing or servicing.

The input pinion sets the speed of the pump. It is an internal part that is not visible until you take your TEC pump apart. This part is offered as a replacement for most common pitched head pump pinions which are standard 2" pitch.

The TEC ShortBlock 778176 is a replacement for the Input Pinion on the TEC Reg. It is machined to exact tolerances to ensure proper fit, alignment and performance. This item is used in the following applications:

A set of 7 pinions, bores and spacers to facilitate assembly of the input shaft of the TEC Shortblocks RB2 and RB3.
