Press Switch Plastic 1/4 MPT is a plastic or nylon lever that provides manual actuation of a normally-open electrical circuit. It is particularly suited for applications that require a high degree of water resistance.

Press button washer #10 x 3/8 inch long; Furnished with plastic nut #10 -1/4" female x 3/8" long; 1/2 inch projection from panel 0.180 inches maximum thickness. Use standard polycarbonate or triloc threaded inserts to accept this switch.

This button is a plastic style fused electrical switch.  The switch mounts to a PCB via two holes that are not threaded and also serves as the plunger mechanism that actuates the switch. A metal round disk also snaps into place over the plunger mechanism to help support it when not in use.

A switch that is operated by pressing it against a stop. It differs from a push-button switch which is operated by pushing a button directly above the switch. A hazardous location approved plastic switch with molded handle. The plated steel lugs are easily accessible for wiring.
